Terms of Service

By accessing or using Aluzio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. Continued use of Aluzio after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

When you create an account on Aluzio, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. Aluzio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the service.

By creating an organization on Aluzio, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the organization or company name you register with. You must have the legal right or proper authorization from the organization to create a workspace under its name.

Aluzio reserves the right to rename, reassign, or remove organizations that misrepresent their affiliation or infringe on the rights of others. If a dispute arises regarding organization name ownership, Aluzio may suspend the organization pending resolution.

Aluzio does not claim ownership of any content you create within the service.

Organization Content

Organization owners retain ownership of all retrospective content created within their workspace, including boards, board templates, sessions, sections, and cards or notes. Organization administrators control access to this content through team and participant management.

User Data

Individual users retain ownership of their personal account data, including their name, email address, profile information, and preferences.

If Aluzio ceases operations or discontinues the service, we will provide registered users with a minimum of 30 days advance notice via the email address associated with their account.

During this notice period, users will be given an opportunity to export their data. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure data remains accessible for the duration of the notice period.

When using Aluzio, you agree not to:

• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Post or transmit any content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Use automated means, including bots, scrapers, or scripts, to access the service or collect data from it without prior written permission
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, the service's infrastructure, or any systems connected to the service

Aluzio is currently in alpha and is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability.

The service may be modified, updated, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. Features may change as the product evolves during the alpha period.

The Aluzio platform, including its name, logo, visual design, source code, and service architecture, is the intellectual property of Aluzio and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users retain full ownership of all content they create within the service. By using Aluzio, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You may stop using Aluzio and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Aluzio may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy

Aluzio is provided without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In no event shall Aluzio, its operators, or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Since the service is provided free of charge during the alpha period, the total aggregate liability of Aluzio for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to zero. You acknowledge that you use the service at your own risk.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the use of Aluzio shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
